This is a list of diagnostically important markers of lineage or developmental stage, or ,ay have diagnostic specificity. These are markers used in the characterisation of leukaemia or lymphoma, please click on the marker image for further detailed information:

Markers used for gating:

CD45 (used together with side scatter) has considerable value in identifying separate leukocyte populations for detailed analysis. Often used to identify blast cells in mixed populations, CD45 can give considerable information about the cells in a sample.

Non-CD markers

A range of markers are not designated outside of the "cluster of differentiation" (CD) classification. Either because a CD-designation was never given (FMC7), they are expressed internally (TdT).

Core "CD-classified" markers used in leukaemia diagnosis
